About me

I have spent most of my career working in Community-Led Local Development (CLLD), a field I’m passionate about because of its focus on empowering local communities. With over a decade of experience as a manager and animator for a Local Action Group (LAG) and Fisheries Local Action Group (FLAG) in rural Denmark, I’ve gained practical insights into how to bring ideas to life at the local level.

Along the way, I’ve also worked as an external expert on EU projects like FAME and ENRD, which has given me an understanding of the broader European framework for local development.

My Expertise in Local and EU Projects

In 2022, I had the privilege of helping develop the local development strategy for LAG Djursland (2023–2027). It’s a project I’m proud of because it focuses on green energy, an area I believe is essential for the future of our communities. I also have strong ties to the LAG community in Denmark, where I served as the representative for managers from 2014 to 2022.

Since 2023, I’ve been part of the FAMENET Core Team, working on CLLD, monitoring, and evaluation under the EMFAF. A big part of my role is organizing key events like the CLLD Seminar and the FAMENET Annual Meeting, which bring together stakeholders to share knowledge and ideas.

Coaching and Facilitation Services

In addition to my work in CLLD, I am a certified life and business coach (since 2017) and a certified group facilitator (2019). I enjoy supporting individuals and teams as they work through challenges, gain clarity, and take meaningful steps forward. Coaching and facilitation are still an important part of my work, and I’m always open to new clients or projects in this area.

Let’s Work Together

If you’re looking for someone with a mix of local, national, and international experience who understands how to connect people and projects, I’d love to hear from you. Whether it’s strategy development, event facilitation, or one-on-one coaching, I’m here to help you achieve your goals.
